Your EpiPen® Trainer

The Trainer Pen is easy to tell apart from your EpiPen®. The label clearly states EpiPen® Trainer and it is pale blue and grey in colour.

The Trainer Pen:

  • Is reusable so you can practice as many times as you like.
  • Works in the same way as the real EpiPen® but doesn't contain a needle or any medicine.
  • Can be used to practice with friends, family, carers or colleagues.

*How to use it...

STEP 1

Remove the blue safety cap.

STEP 2

Jab the orange tip firmly into the outer thigh and hold in place for 3 seconds.

To reset the EpiPen® Trainer after use, first replace the blue safety cap. Then place the orange tip on a hard surface, squeeze the sides of the orange tip and push down.

We recommend practicing regularly with those close to you, so that in case of an emergency, you are prepared.

Order your Trainer Pen
For training and demonstration purposes, an EpiPen® training device (without drug and without a needle) is available. The training device and the active EpiPen® Auto-Injector should not be routinely carried together in order to avoid confusion in an emergency situation.

In order to request your Trainer Pen you must have already filled your prescription. You will find the LOT number on the side flap of the outer carton or on the back of your prescribed EpiPen® auto-injector.

To order your Trainer Pen, please send your name, postal address and LOT number of your EpiPen® to info.ie@viatris.com. Your information will only be used to post your Trainer Pen and will not be passed onto any third parties.
